OREANDA-NEWS  The court arrested the deputy general director of the Patriot Park, Vitaly Melimuk. 

Melimuk is accused of receiving a particularly large bribe. The investigation believes that in April he received a bribe of 18 million rubles from the director of the Hermes company for general patronage. In 2025, the company itself signed contracts for the maintenance of Patriot in the Moscow region and its branch in St. Petersburg for 1.4 billion rubles.

Earlier, the 235th garrison military court sentenced Pavel Popov, former deputy head of the Russian Defense Ministry, to 19 years in a high-security penal colony, who built himself a cottage and a bathhouse with money for the construction of the Patriot.
