OREANDA-NEWS The founder of the fits Everybody To at brand and a designer from New York, Denise Cesare, sued the American TV star Kim Kardashian and accused her of theft. Page six writes about this.
The lawsuit against the entrepreneur was filed on March 31 in the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York. In it, Cesare claimed that Kardashian had appropriated her brand's name for the most popular collection of her brand, Skims fits Everybody.
The designer believes that the celebrity, having committed such an act, literally destroyed her business, since using a table with a similar name misleads customers. At the same time, she notes that she has repeatedly notified Kardashian about her rights to this name and trademark.
Cesare is currently seeking a ban on the continued use of the name by the TV star's company, as well as damages, including legal fees. In her statement, she also emphasized that her brand entered the market long before the creation of the Skims brand.
In February, it was reported that the former housekeeper of Kim Kardashian's sister, TV star Kylie Jenner, sued her over racism and humiliation.
