OREANDA-NEWS  The Arctic is a key priority for the EU, and Brussels is considering the issue of Greenland as part of the region's security, Anitta Hipper, an official representative of the European Union's foreign policy service, said at a briefing in Brussels.

"This (the question of the US position on Greenland - ed.) concerns the topic of security in the Arctic, which is a key priority for the European Union," she said.

Hipper added that the EU stands in "full solidarity" with Denmark and Greenland.
