OREANDA-NEWS  The European Union is going to urge the G7 countries to accelerate payments to Ukraine under the ERA loan program for about $ 50 billion from proceeds from frozen assets of the Russian Federation, Euractiv reports, citing officials.

The G7 countries have approved the granting of this loan to Ukraine in 2024.

European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Valdis Dombrovskis will urge ministers from Japan, Britain and the United States to accelerate ERA payments during a visit to Washington this week.
