OREANDA-NEWS The situation in the Russian fuel market is controlled and stable, there is no shortage, Gennady Shops, deputy head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), told reporters.

"The situation in the fuel market is stable. There is no shortage, we are fully supplied with fuel. The situation is under control," he said on the sidelines of the Caucasian Investment Forum.

He added that details on future agreements between the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service with oil companies on increasing fuel supplies to the country's domestic market are being worked out.
