OREANDA-NEWS  Following the results of the State Duma elections, the "United Russia" party won 349 mandates. This was announced by the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

"Pamfilova clarified that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation received 37 mandates, the Liberal Democratic Party — 23, "New People" — 19, "Fair Russia" — 17, and the party "Homeland" — one.

Four more seats were distributed among the self-nominated candidates, the head of the Central Election Commission added.

The elections of deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation and other regional elections combined with them started on September 18 and ended on the evening of September 20. Political analyst Dmitry Yelovsky stated that following the results of the State Duma elections in Russia, the opposition has completely rebuilt.
