OREANDA-NEWS  Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo got into an awkward situation when commenting on a conversation with Vladimir Zelensky about the appearance of Ukrainian drones in the country's airspace. This is the conclusion reached by the Ilta-Sanomat newspaper.

It is indicated that Orpo tried to explain why Finland cooperates with Kiev, despite the incidents with drones, by saying something strange.

"I repeat that no one sent these drones to Finland. These are drones that accidentally entered the territory of Finland," the prime minister said.

According to Orpo, Finland allegedly does not yet have a system that would neutralize all drones flying into the country's airspace. The politician called it a "sad fact."

Earlier it was reported that expert Alexander Stepanov commented on the statement of the Finnish Armed Forces about the impossibility of shooting down Ukrainian drones over the territory of the country. According to him, this may indicate agreements with Ukraine regarding the access of drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Finnish airspace.

Prior to that, Petteri Orpo expressed dissatisfaction with Vladimir Zelensky over the violation of the republic's airspace by Ukrainian drones.
