OREANDA-NEWS  Money and jewelry worth a million rubles were stolen from the house of Senator of the Federation Council from the Altai Republic Vladimir Poletaev in the Istra district of the Moscow region, reports Baza.

According to the channel, on Thursday evening, November 23, two thieves entered the politician's cottage in the village of Pokrovskoye through the emergency entrance, squeezing out the plastic door. They found 200 thousand rubles in cash and jewelry in the house.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft"). Investigators took fingerprints and shoe prints in the house, and also seized recordings from surveillance cameras.
