OREANDA-NEWS  Iconic British singer Gaynor Hopkins, known under the pseudonym Bonnie Tyler, regained consciousness after an induced coma. A representative of the actress told The Sun newspaper about this.

"Bonnie is no longer in a coma, but she is still seriously ill. Her condition is improving, but the recovery process is slow," said Tyler's representative.

It is noted that the star is still in the intensive care unit. Before that, doctors had already tried to bring the performer out of a coma, but she suffered a cardiac arrest.

In early May, Tyler was put into an artificial coma due to intestinal problems, it happened after an emergency operation. The 74-year-old star was rushed to a hospital in the Portuguese city of Faro. According to media reports, the singer was diagnosed with intestinal perforation and ruptured appendicitis.
