OREANDA-NEWS Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani said that he canceled a visit to the United States because of the words of American President Donald Trump about Prime Minister George Meloni, who allegedly begged him for a photo at the G7 summit in France.

Earlier, Meloni called Trump's words about the request to take a photo together "completely fictional."
"President Trump's harsh and insulting remarks to Prime Minister Giorgi Meloni offend the whole of Italy. For this reason, I have decided to cancel my visit to the United States, scheduled for June 21 and 22," Tajani wrote on the social network.
