OREANDA-NEWS Last year, more citizens of the Russian Federation left Georgia than entered, the Interior Ministry of the republic reported on Monday.
According to the data provided by the agency, 1,856,237 Russian citizens entered Georgia in 2023, and 1,887,223 Russians left.
At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes that in the fourth quarter of 2023, unlike the previous three quarters, Turkey ranks first in terms of the number of crossings of the Georgian state border, followed by Russia, Armenia, EU countries, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and India.
