OREANDA-NEWS By the end of May, the total cost of honey supplies from Turkey to Russia reached its maximum in modern history. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the state service of the NATO country.

During the reporting period, exporters from the Mediterranean state sent a total of $473,000 worth of honey to the Russian market. For comparison: in April, the cost of importing this delicacy was 102 thousand dollars. Thus, over the last month of spring, the indicator increased by about 4.6 times.

The achieved result turned out to be the highest in the entire history of statistical observations. The Turkish Statistical Service has been providing data since 2013.
