OREANDA-NEWS  Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed his intention to fight Russophobia, which, in his opinion, is artificially fomented by agents of the "deep state" in Georgia. His words are reported by "Sputnik Georgia".

"We should not kill the very concept of "Russophobia", we should root out Russophobia in Georgia. Russophobia, like any manifestation of xenophobia, is not organic for Georgians. Historically, we are famous for our hospitality and tolerant attitude towards foreigners," the Prime Minister said.

According to Kobakhidze, a substitution of concepts is being used against his people — they turn hostility to Russian political decisions into hatred of the Russian people. He called for learning to separate the attitude towards the state and the people.

In August, Irakli Kobakhidze already made a statement about the incitement of Russophobia in Georgia. He called it a new stage in the struggle against the sovereignty of Georgia and its people.
