OREANDA-NEWS  The White House is considering the option of using force against Cuba. This was stated by the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, quoted by the US Department of War on the social network X.

"All options are being considered, including military ones. It would be wise for Cuba to take into account the willingness of President [Donald] Trump should defend the strategic prerogatives of the United States, because it certainly cannot compete with the United States," he said.

Hegseth stressed that Washington will have "many options" for action in relation to Havana.

Earlier, Politico reported that in recent months, the United States has increased the number of intelligence resources in Cuba and sent spies and agents there to push the country's communist regime to reform or fall.
