OREANDA-NEWS  The idea of holding a Russia-Arab League summit will remain on the agenda, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko said on Wednesday.

"The idea is alive. There are no concrete plans yet. (...) Naturally, we are considering this possibility in the future, and holding a Russia-Arab World summit is definitely on the agenda," he told reporters in Moscow, answering a question from Interfax.

Borisenko recalled that a Russia-Africa summit is planned in the fall with the participation of Arab leaders, among others.
