OREANDA-NEWS Eight charges have been brought against the Russian ruffers who climbed the Empire State Building in New York. This was reported by ABC News channel.
It clarifies that, among other things, Russians are accused of burglary, criminal interference in other people's property, illegal entry into the territory, violation of public order and creating danger by negligence. The New York City Administrative Code explicitly prohibits climbing, hanging from, or jumping from buildings.
Earlier it was reported that the violators allegedly turned out to be Russians Ivan Birkus (Kuznetsov) and Angelina Nikolaou. A man from the spire of a skyscraper proposed to a girl. They also unfurled a banner reading: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world knows peace." The couple was detained. They face a prison term of up to a year, a fine of up to one thousand dollars, or both punishments.
