OREANDA-NEWS  Serbian Minister Nenad Popovic, who is responsible for international economic cooperation, told RIA Novosti that his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov went very well, they discussed gas supplies, among other things.

On Thursday, Popovich and Lavrov held talks on the sidelines of the SPIEF.

"The meeting with Minister Lavrov went very well. We have exchanged all the latest data. And most importantly, we thanked the Minister and the government of the Russian Federation, your President (Vladimir) Putin for their support on our key issues," the agency's interlocutor said.
"We also discussed issues and are grateful to Russia for its support in reliable gas supplies," he stressed.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place from 3 to 6 June. RIA Novosti is the general information partner of the SPIEF.
