OREANDA-NEWS The US strategic oil reserve dropped to its lowest level since October 1982, 284.6 million barrels at the end of the week ending September 18, according to data from the country's Ministry of Energy.

The level of strategic reserves was lower at the end of the week to October 29, 1982, when the figure was 284.268 million barrels.
