OREANDA-NEWS  Western countries want to stage a new "color revolution" in Belarus and are looking for active liberal politicians to achieve these goals. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), RIA Novosti reports.

"The fugitive figures entrenched in Lithuania and Poland, led by [Svetlana] Tikhanovskaya, have in recent years confessed their complete powerlessness to influence the processes in their native country in any way. Westernizers plan to conduct a thorough "inventory" of Belarusian opposition cadres for their use in subversive activities," the statement says.

It is additionally clarified that the Western powers want to provoke a political crisis by the upcoming presidential elections in 2030.

On December 18 last year, President of Belarus Lukashenko stated that he did not guarantee participation in the presidential elections in 2030. The Head of State also noted that everything was fine with his health, at the same time expressing the hope that this would continue.
