OREANDA-NEWS  The Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world with 163 floors, located in Dubai, was illuminated in the colors of the Russian flag. This was done in honor of Russia Day, TASS reports.

This skyscraper was commissioned in 2010. Its construction cost 1.5 billion dollars. The facade of the Burj Khalifa is one of the largest LED screens in the world. Its area is 32.4 thousand square meters.

Earlier it was reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un sent a congratulatory telegram to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of Russia Day.
