OREANDA-NEWS  The US Chamber of Commerce in Russia has prepared a list of recommendations for the US government, which involve the lifting of certain sanctions against the Russian Federation. This was stated by the head of this chamber, Robert Agee, in an interview with RBC.

According to him, the chamber primarily advocates the lifting of sanctions in the aviation sector. We are talking about the supply of spare parts and technical support for aircraft. As Agee stressed, this is a humanitarian necessity, as ordinary citizens suffer due to existing restrictions. The second set of initiatives involves lifting the ban on investments for American companies. The latter would like to invest money in Russia and expand production, but restrictions prevent them from doing so.

The third set of proposals concerns the lifting of sanctions against Russian banks. This would solve the problem of cross-border payments, without which, as Agee emphasized, "we all suffer." In fourth place, the lifting of restrictions on the supply of luxury goods, including cosmetics.

Earlier, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant announced his country's readiness to tighten anti-Russian sanctions without hesitation. According to him, restrictive measures will be "used unambiguously and aggressively."
