OREANDA-NEWS  The current UFC middleweight champion, American Sean Strickland, reported that he was in a serious accident on an SUV. His words are quoted on the Instagram page (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

The 35-year-old athlete stated that he was in the passenger seat, and his friend was driving. Strickland said that the SUV overturned about six times at a speed of about 95 kilometers per hour. As a result of the incident, the athlete received a slight concussion, as well as abrasions on his head and back.

Strickland has been competing in the UFC since 2014. He has 31 wins and seven losses in mixed martial arts. In May 2026, he won the UFC middleweight championship.

Earlier, Strickland made a harsh political statement calling for a revolution in the United States. The athlete said that the country had been turned into a "state of total surveillance."
