OREANDA-NEWS The British Ministry of Defense has promised to supply thousands of air defense missiles to Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom, John Healy, in an interview with Politico.

Healy commented on reports about the supply of 650 Martlet multipurpose missiles to Ukraine to support air defense. In 2025, the Ministry of Defense expects an even larger order for the supply of similar missiles to Kiev.

British officials also informed the publication about the continuation of the training program for soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Operation Interflex. As reported, at the moment, 45 thousand Ukrainian military have passed through the training program.

Earlier, the publication noted Healy's desire to become "Mr. Ukraine". According to British officials, Kiev's support is his "number one priority", despite the problems existing inside his country.
