OREANDA-NEWS  In the event of a collision with Russia, the United States will be vulnerable because of the mistakes of American President Joe Biden. This statement was made by columnist Thomas Lifson in a column for the publication American Thinker. In the article, he also called Biden the culprit of several "geopolitical catastrophes."

The journalist called the transfer of a large amount of money and weapons to Kiev one of Biden's mistakes. "Think about the insane reduction of our (American) stocks of ammunition, missiles and other weapons sent along with countless billions of dollars to the dictator in Ukraine," Lifson wrote.

The author also considers it wrong that the head of the United States threatens Russia with nuclear weapons. Lifson drew attention to the fact that these threats are being made at a time when the reserves of American resources are being depleted, and Moscow is strengthening its position. As the journalist noted, Russia has significantly more capacity for the production of ammunition than the United States.

Lifson also said that during the two years of Biden's presidency, many "geopolitical catastrophes" occurred due to his incompetence. In his opinion, "it will be difficult for the United States to recover from these disasters, if at all possible."

Earlier, columnist Lily Bayer predicted the split of NATO in an article for the American edition of Politico. She believes that the lack of ammunition in the alliance, which was caused by the conflict in Ukraine, may lead to the division of the members of the association into two camps: those who will support Kiev, and those who do not want to do so.
