The United States has issued most of the visas for the participation of the Russian delegation in the events of the UN Security Council

OREANDA-NEWS Most of the visas of the Russian delegation to participate in upcoming UN events in New York have already been issued, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Thursday.
"Visas are in the process of being issued, a significant part of the visas have already been received. But we have not yet received all the visas that we requested. The work is underway, there are still a few days left, I would like to hope that visas will be issued to everyone for whom they are requested," he told reporters in Moscow.
On the eve of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would take part in an open debate of the UN Security Council on January 22-24.
