OREANDA-NEWS  The US administration lifted the ban on the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian Azov brigade (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). This is reported by The Washington Post with reference to the State Department.

As noted in the article, Azov was banned from using American weapons for about ten years due to the "racist, xenophobic and ultranationalist views" of some of their brigade founders, as well as accusations of humanitarian violations.

Now, Azov will have access to American weapons like any other unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), since the brigade was checked by the State Department, which found "no evidence" of violations.

In April, the commander of the Azov, Denis Prokopenko, with the call sign Radish, demanded that the United States exclude the brigade from blacklists and give it access to foreign weapons.
