OREANDA-NEWS The fortune of the richest Russian businessmen has increased by 18.3 billion rubles since the beginning of 2026. The data about this is published in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

According to the rating, Andrey Melnichenko, co-founder of Eurochem and the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), earned $5.8 billion during this period. His fortune reached $24.7 billion (about 1.85 trillion rubles). Besides him, the income of Leonid Mikhelson, the head of Novatek, Gennady Timchenko, businessman, Alexey Mordashov, founder of Severstal, and Iskander Makhmudov, founder of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, increased. Together, they earned almost 12.5 billion dollars, and their fortune amounted to 84.5 billion dollars (approximately 6.3 trillion rubles).

At the same time, entrepreneurs Mikhail Prokhorov, Pavel Durov and Alisher Usmanov, on the contrary, lost $ 8.4 billion. Their combined wealth is estimated at 41.8 billion dollars (about 3.15 trillion rubles).

The agency has been publishing the Billionaires Index since March 2012. It includes data on the 500 richest people on the planet, and the fortune is calculated, among other things, based on the share price of their companies.

Earlier, one of the richest Ukrainians found a luxury apartment in Monaco for 554 million dollars.
