OREANDA-NEWS  White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller actually rejected French President Emmanuel Macron's ideas about a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. This is reported by TASS.

"Such an absurd question," he replied to a journalist who asked him to comment on Macron's recent allegations.

According to the French leader, if Putin refuses to meet with Zelensky, this will allegedly be proof that the Russian president has "outsmarted" US President Donald Trump.

Miller also recalled that the Ukrainian conflict began because of former US President Joe Biden. "Trump inherited President Biden's war, and he is working tirelessly to stop the loss of life," he said. According to Miller, Trump considers the main tasks to be "ensuring peace, security and stability."
