"I was in a subway car when the train suddenly stopped in a tunnel. I smelled smoke, and we saw that the smoke was starting to enter the carriage," said one of the passengers.
It is noted that the ambulance service provided assistance to 136 people, 39 of whom were taken to various nearby hospitals in a state of mild or moderate severity. The cause of the fire is called the collapse and ignition of the tunnel lining.
