OREANDA-NEWS  Unknown people stole jewelry from the Rene Lalique Museum in northeastern France. This is reported by France 24.

The theft occurred early in the morning on Sunday, July 5. The thieves entered the building at about half past five and immediately went to the hall with decorations. They managed to steal about 20 exhibits and escape. The damage is estimated at almost four million euros (356 million rubles).

The alarm went off, but the security company checked it too late and did not have time to stop the kidnappers. The cleaning lady was the first on the scene, and she called the police. Currently, law enforcement agencies are studying the CCTV footage.
