OREANDA-NEWS  The current President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wins the November 20 presidential elections with 81.31% of the vote, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the country Nurlan Abdirov said on Monday preliminary election results.

"Tokayev Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich scored 6,456,392 votes or 81.31%," Abdirov said at a meeting of the Central Election Commission.

5.8% of voters voted "Against everyone" in the presidential elections of Kazakhstan. Thus, this is the second place in terms of the number of votes.

According to the CEC, Karakat Abden, nominated by the alliance of social workers, won 2.6% of the votes.

The candidate of the opposition National Social Democratic Party (OSDP), Nurlan Auesbayev, won 2.22% of the vote.

3.42% of voters voted for the candidate from the People's Democratic patriotic party "Auyl" Zhiguli Dairabayev.

The candidate from the republican association "Commonwealth of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan "Amanat" Meiram Kazhyken won 2.53% of the votes.

Saltanat Tursynbekova, a candidate from the public association "Kazak analary - desturge zhol" (Kazakh mothers - the way to customs), scored 2.12% of the votes.

The voter turnout in the early presidential elections of Kazakhstan, according to the updated data of the Central Election Commission, amounted to 69.44%, the chairman of the CEC said. At the same time, out of 11 million 953 thousand citizens who have the right to vote, 8,300,046 people voted.
