OREANDA-NEWS  US President Donald Trump said that during a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, he received an invitation from him to visit China and in response invited him to visit Washington.

"During the conversation, President Xi kindly invited the first lady and me to visit China, and I responded in kind," Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.

According to him, the conversation lasted an hour and a half and focused almost entirely on trade issues. The leaders discussed the implementation of the new trade agreement and agreed to send delegations to continue negotiations. According to Trump, the issues of Russia, Ukraine or Iran were not raised during the discussion.
