OREANDA-NEWS  At this stage, the United States is thinking more about restoring Venezuela's oil infrastructure than about the elections there. This was stated by the American leader Donald Trump, the BBC reports.

The head of the White House clarified that the United States will begin to bring profit to the country.

However, experts, according to the TV channel, warned of serious problems with Trump's plan, saying it would cost billions of dollars and require up to ten years to significantly increase oil production.

Earlier, US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green spoke out about the absurdity of President Trump's actions against Venezuela. In her opinion, the next obvious conclusion is that the removal of Maduro is a clear step towards establishing control over the supply of Venezuelan oil.
