Trump's tariffs have been officially declared illegal

OREANDA-NEWS The US Supreme Court has declared the import duties imposed by US President Donald Trump under the pretext of the law on the state of emergency to be an abuse of authority. This is reported by Reuters.
The Supreme Court upheld the verdict of the lower court. Six judges voted for this decision, three opposed it.
It is noted that the US Constitution gives the authority to impose taxes and duties not to the president of the country, but to Congress, however, Trump used the law to impose duties on almost all goods imported into the United States without Congressional approval.
On April 2, Trump announced a decision to impose duties on all goods that are shipped to the United States, with the exception of those that are critical to production and national security. Tariffs for states amounted to at least 10 percent, and for some countries — 49.
