OREANDA-NEWS  US President Donald Trump has said he is always open to negotiations with Iran.

"Yes, always," Trump told reporters when asked if he was ready for direct talks with Iran.

The United States does not need negotiations with Iran, and Tehran sees no point in having a dialogue with those who threaten, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian said earlier.

On February 28, the United States and Israel began attacking targets in Iran, to which the Iranian side responded with its own strikes. In mid-June, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum on the cessation of hostilities, but later exchanged blows again. According to reports from the US Department of Defense, at least 757 American servicemen were injured during the confrontation, and 18 more died. At the moment, the conflict remains unresolved.
