OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and the United States may resume trade relations after the conflict in Ukraine ends. This opinion was expressed by the American leader Donald Trump on the Truth Social social network after a conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

"Russia has a huge opportunity to create enormous wealth and a number of [new] jobs. The potential of this [cooperation] is unlimited," Trump said. He noted that Moscow has a desire to conduct large-scale trade with Washington, and the United States shares this desire.

On May 19, telephone conversations between the leaders of Russia and the United States took place, they lasted about two hours. Trump said that the conversation with Putin went very well.
