OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The head of the White House announced this on the Truth Social network.

"I have just finished a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The conversation lasted about one hour and 15 minutes," Trump said.

The American leader added that he had discussed with Putin the attack of Ukrainian drones on Russian airfields, as well as "other attacks that were carried out by both sides." Trump stressed that the talks were "good," but did not become "the kind of conversation that would lead to immediate peace."
