OREANDA-NEWS The Turkish authorities need to restrict passage through the straits for ships that are connected to Ukraine. Such an appeal was made by the former Turkish military attache, retired Air Force Colonel Ihsan Sefa, RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Earlier, a drone in the Black Sea attacked the ship M/V RMS TEAM, which is operated by the Turkish company Akkon Lines. After the evacuation of the crew, a fire broke out on the ship. As a result, the entire cargo was declared completely damaged.

"To stop Ukraine, it is necessary to directly or indirectly close the Turkish Straits to Ukraine and ships trading with Ukraine," Sefa said.

This is not the first attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Turkish ships. So, in early August, the Ukrainian military struck the Nadezhda vessel in the Black Sea, transporting fruits and vegetables from the Turkish port of Samsun to Novorossiysk.
