OREANDA-NEWS President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed a new ambassador of the country to Russia, Esen Aydogdiyev became him. This was reported in the official program of the Turkmen television "Vatan".

Aydogdiyev previously held the position of Rector of the International University of Humanities and Development.

Aydogdiyev replaced Batyr Niyazaliev, who held the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation since October 2016.
