OREANDA-NEWS  Two vessels belonging to ADNOC, an oil and gas corporation from the United Arab Emirates, were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz the day before, there were no casualties, the state agency of the United Arab Emirates WAM reported, citing a statement from the company.

"ADNOC has confirmed that two of its vessels were attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday evening, August 13. As a result of the incident, no one was injured, the situation has been brought under control," the agency informs.

In a statement, the company stressed the importance of protecting the safety and well-being of seafarers, as well as ensuring freedom of navigation and safety at sea.
