OREANDA-NEWS  Two men were detained in connection with the explosion in Monaco. This is reported by BFMTV with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office of the principality.

"Two men were arrested and taken into custody in Monaco on Wednesday," the ministry said.

The Prosecutor General's Office of the principality clarified that the investigation had not revealed any evidence of their "active participation." They were subsequently released from custody.

However, it is noted that the wanted Ukrainian citizen "did not act alone."

"The relative complexity of the explosive device and the method of its use seem to indicate that the person who planted the explosive device did not act alone," the Prosecutor General's office added.

Earlier, it became known from the database of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) that Anastasia Berezovskaya, a Ukrainian citizen, is suspected of the explosion and attempted murder of Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev in Monaco. It is known that she is 39 years old, and her distinctive feature is a tattoo on her right arm.
