OREANDA-NEWS Ukraine has threatened Israel with a scandal if Tel Aviv allows the Russian vessel Panoramits, which transports grain from the new territories of Russia, to enter the port of Haifa. Axios correspondent Barak Ravid reports this with reference to a diplomatic source on the social network X.
"We're tracking this new vessel and we're not going to let this get away with it. If he is allowed to dock and unload, this will have consequences, in particular for our bilateral relations," the diplomat's words are quoted in the publication.
It is noted that if the ship enters the port of Haifa, Kiev intends to use "the full range of diplomatic and international legal measures against Israel." The Axios report, citing its own diplomatic sources, was also confirmed by RBC-Ukraine.
On April 15, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga called Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and made claims for the purchase of grain from Russia. At that time, it was about grain unloaded in Haifa by the Russian ship Anubisk.
