OREANDA-NEWS  Armenia and France have reached new agreements in military-technical cooperation, an agreement has been signed with the French company KNDS, the Armenian Defense Ministry said.

"Within the framework of a working visit to France on June 17, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with French Minister of the Armed Forces Sebastian Lecorny. During the meeting, the current process of cooperation between Armenia and France in the field of defense was discussed," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the release, Papikyan presented the progress of defense reforms in Armenia and the work carried out in this direction within the framework of cooperation with France.

"The parties noted the importance of military-technical cooperation, around which new agreements have been reached," the ministry added.

In addition, the ministry reported that an agreement on military-technical cooperation has been signed between the Armenian Ministry of Defense and the French military-industrial company KNDS.
