OREANDA-NEWS  Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said on Thursday that the Yerevan Brandy Factory, owned by the French company Pernod Ricard, may stop exporting its products to Russia.

"Of course, I have not received official information, but it seems that it is official that the Yerevan Brandy Factory will stop exporting to Russia," Kerobyan said in the Armenian parliament. According to him, this will create problems that will affect the purchase of grapes.

Earlier, Pernod Ricard announced that at the end of April it stopped exporting products of all its international brands to Russia. It was noted that the company will also stop distributing its products in the country. The company's portfolio includes dozens of brands, including Chivas Regal whiskey, Jameson, Ballantine's, Absolut vodka, Olmeca tequila, Havana Club rum, Mumm and Perrier Jouet champagne and Ararat cognac.
