OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky announced his desire to move to a diplomatic settlement of the conflict. His words are conveyed by "The Country.ua" in Telegram.

"Ukraine is ready for a cease-fire without conditions and a transition to diplomacy. If the Russians are ready for a cease—fire, yes, without conditions, just a cease—fire and negotiations," the publication says.

He also noted that he was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Minister stated that Russia is ready for negotiations on Ukraine, but it will not stop the special military operation (SVO) because of them. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian leader's press secretary, also called the talks in Moscow a condition for a possible meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
