OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2008 was announced, that the Information Committee of OJSC "Russian Trading System" Stock Exchange" approved new lists of shares for calculation of RTS Indices, RTS-2 Index as well as Sectoral Indices, which will be valid starting from March 17th, 2008 till June 13th, 2008.

Whereas ordinary shares of JSC "RusHydro" and "Silvinit" joined the RTS Index List, ordinary shares of Irkut Corporation and RITEK were excluded from the List.

Given the information provided by the Committee on Restructuring of RAO UESR on procedure and period of restructuring of the energy holding, the Information Committee decided to exclude ordinary and privileged shares of RAO UESR starting from May 4th, 2008. Therefore the last day on which RAO UESR shares will be taken into consideration when calculating RTS Index will be April 30th, 2008. However, the Information Committee can reconsider the date stipulated for the exclusion of RAO UESR shares from the RTS Index List if new information on plans of RAO UESR restructuring comes up.

While ordinary shares of OJSC "DIXY GROUP", JSC "FEEC", PJSC "NCSP", TGC-2, TGC-5, OJSC "Volga TGC" (TGC-7) were added to The RTS-2 Index List, privileged shares of UTK PJSC, ordinary shares of Moscow Heat Distribution Company, and JSC "PNTZ" were removed from the List due to low liquidity.

Ordinary shares of Mechel ОАО and JSC Uralkali will also be removed from the RTS-2 Index List but for a different reason, their capitalization significantly exceeds the maximum allowed value, set for the "second tier" Index. The above-mentioned shares are on the RTS Index List.
Sectoral Indices Lists have remained unchanged except for RTS - Electric Utilities Index. Ordinary shares of OJSC HydroOGKare added to the RTS - Electric Utilities Index List. Ordinary and privileged shares of RAO UESR will be removed from the said List in the period stipulated for RTS Index, i.e. starting from May 4th, 2008.

The weight coefficient of OJSC HydroOGKordinary shares for RTS - Electric Utilities Index is calculated so that their weight in the Index, without RAO UESR shares taken into account, does not exceed 25%.

For a range of securities the number of shares taken into consideration when calculating RTS Index is changed, or free-float coefficients are reconsidered.
