OREANDA-NEWS. According to decree by the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian ruble will be redenominated on 01.07.2016 – the currency code will change from BYR to BYN and the currency value will change in the ratio of 10000:1. The old 10,000 BYR will be equivalent to 1 BYN in the new denomination.


The name of the currency will remain the same - Belarusian ruble.
