In January–June 2016 the volume of trading in government securities (GS) on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)* made up KZT334.0 bn (equivalent to USD950.3 mln) increasing by 14.9 % (decreasing by 39.6 % in dollar terms) against the respective period of 2015.

In comparison with the previous six-month period (July–December 2015) the trades volume increased 2.4 times (1.4 times in dollar terms).
