OREANDA-NEWS Raiffeisenbank has allowed individuals to transfer more than 30 thousand euros per month to only 41 European countries since November 1, and a limit of 20 thousand euros per transfer has been set for the rest, according to the Telegram channel of the credit institution.

Serbia, popular among Russian relaxants, was included in the list of countries for increased transfers, but Georgia, Armenia and Kazakhstan were not included. It is noted that the specified limit is common for all transfers and is not calculated separately for each of the countries.

Raiffeisenbank explained the accepted restrictions with the requirements of correspondent banks, explaining that they relate to customers of individuals.

Since August 1, Raiffeisenbank has stopped accepting and buying foreign currency from Russians at its cash desks, and since September 1, it has established a commission for crediting dollars from other banks, which is 50 percent of the transfer amount. The commission amount, according to the new conditions, can range from one to ten thousand dollars.
