Revenues of the 100 largest arms manufacturing companies increased over the year

OREANDA-NEWS The total revenue of the world's leading arms manufacturers in 2024 reached a record high of 679 billion dollars, an increase of 5.9%, according to data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
"The total revenue from arms sales of the world's largest arms manufacturing and military services companies ... increased by 5.9% in 2024, reaching 679 billion (dollars - ed.). This is the highest level ever recorded by SIPRI," the study says.
In Ukraine, more than 15 thousand weapons were declared in a year, the media reported.
SIPRI clarifies that from 2015 to 2024, the revenue of the hundred largest defense enterprises increased by 26%.
"The total revenue from arms sales of the world's largest arms manufacturing and military services companies ... increased by 5.9% in 2024, reaching 679 billion (dollars - ed.). This is the highest level ever recorded by SIPRI," the study says.
